Finally available in Malaysia, the Ferrari Purosangue is the firm’s first SUV and its “first-ever four-door four-seater,” as the company likes to put it. The four-seater sports car with the Prancing Horse logo is available for RM5,000,000, after taxes, duties, and before options.
Ferrari bosses stated that its strategic design cues not only make the Purosangue appear smaller than it is, but they also lessen drag. In order to blend in with the car’s exterior, the “floating” wheel arches, which lessen turbulence around the wheels, have also been coated in carbon fibre.
Powering the Purosangue is a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). This results in a total of 725 hp and 716 Nm sent to all four wheels, performance that delivers a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 3.3 seconds, and a top speed of 310 km/h.
Ferrari has also given the Purosangue a series of advanced driving technologies including vehicle dynamic control system together with side slip control. The SUV also employs four-wheel steering and a new active suspension system that uses the firm’s multimatic’s true active spool valve (TASV) system which is mated to a 48V electric active-roll damping system.
To maximise interior space, the Purosangue sits on a purpose-built chassis that delivers higher overall rigidity over the brand’s previous GT models. According to Ferrari, the interior of the four-door has been styled to resemble a “sporty lounge.” The luxury brand has switched the traditional built-in satellite navigation system offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which will be displayed on the driver’s digital instrument cluster display.
As a four-seater, this Ferrari offers the first-ever full-sized rear seats, and to aid with easy entry and exit, the Italian sports carmaker has fitted the Purosangue with a set of rear-hinged suicide rear doors.

This is the SUV that Ferrari fans have been waiting for. While it’s not a name that rolls off the tongue easily, the Purosangue does deliver breathtaking design, four-seat comfort and eye-popping performance—all for a price that appeals to serious Maranello aficionados.
