BFGoodrich has just officially unveiled the All-Terrain T/A KO3 tyre in Malaysia as the newest member of the All-Terrain family. There will be 62 sizes available for the new model, 39 of which will be available at launch. The wheel diameter range for these sizes is 15 to 22 inches, priced between RM825 to RM2,946.
The three main areas of improvement for the new off-road tyres are grip, toughness, and treadwear. The KO3’s all-terrain tread compound is new and claims a 15% longer lifespan for the treadwear. Even on gravel, the full-depth 3D locking sipes and the optimised footprint work together to distribute stress and wear evenly throughout the tread, extending tyre life.
The KO3 is also more robust, especially because of its sidewall’s enhanced CoreGard Technology, carried over from its Baja T/A KR3 off-road racing tyres. This technology extends the sidewall’s split- and bruise-resistant shoulder rubber to offer additional protection. The new T/A KO3, according to BFGoodrich, has “better gravel road durability” than other competitors with the three-peak mountain snowflake mark.
New aggressive tread pattern will appeal to enthusiasts
In terms of traction, the new BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3’s revised tread pattern, which includes full depth 3D locking sipes, mud-phobic bars, and a serrated shoulder design, is intended to give superior off-road grip, particularly on mud and snow. The new tread compound boasts a 4.2 metre shorter stopping distance than its predecessor, providing better wet traction on the road.
The All-Terrain T/A KO3 has an aggressive look thanks to its redesigned sidewalls and full-depth tread pattern, which is further highlighted by the raised white lettering that is available on some tyre sizes.

The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 will be released in three phases over the next 2 years, starting with 39 sizes to start, and adding 19 more sizes in the next year, with the final four sizes launching in 2026.
