Tesla Gearing Up for Imminent Model 3 Highland Launch in USA

Signs are pointing to Tesla being on the verge of launching its hotly anticipated Model 3 Highland in the United States sooner rather than later.

Several recent sightings of mysterious Tesla engineering and test vehicles in Texas bearing “Manufacturer” license plates suggest the company is putting the new model through its paces ahead of its introduction to the American market. Unlike other Tesla test vehicles, the company has made no attempt to disguise the Model 3 Highland test cars.

Additionally, Tesla stores in Texas have demo drives available for all current Tesla models except the Model 3. This could indicate that the company is limiting Model 3 test drives in anticipation of the refreshed Highland version hitting showrooms in the near future.

The Model 3 Highland features several updates over the existing Model 3, including an upgraded interior, and a redesigned exterior. It has already launched in Europe and China to strong demand.

While Tesla fans may be thrilled about the imminent US launch, the company will also be focused on sorting out battery supply chain issues that have made some Model 3 versions ineligible for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit. Resolving this will be key to maximizing sales and affordability in the US market.

As we have yet to hear an official announcement from Tesla about the Model 3 Highland launch timing, details remain speculative. But with multiple sightings of testing models American roads, a US introduction could be just around the corner. Stay tuned for more details as the story develops.
