1000+ HP Genesis Hybrid Hypercar Coming to Gran Turismo 7

Genesis recently revealed its latest Vision Gran Turismo concept, the X Gran Berlinetta, at the Gran Turismo World Series finals in Barcelona. The concept car previews a new vehicle that will be available for players to drive in Gran Turismo 7 starting in January 2024.

The X Gran Berlinetta embodies Genesis’ characteristic “Athletic Elegance” design language in a pure, muscular shape focused around the wheels. Details like the crested grille, quad lights, and two line branding make it distinctly Genesis while aerodynamic elements optimize it for virtual racing.

Under the sleek Magma red bodywork lies a high-tech hybrid powertrain generating over 1000 horsepower from a V6 engine and electric motor. This fits with Gran Turismo’s focus on bringing players fantasy vehicles with extreme performance.

For Gran Turismo fans, the X Gran Berlinetta will be an exciting new addition to GT7’s extensive car list when it launches. With its blend of real-world design and virtual racing capability, we can hope Genesis decides to produce some version of this striking concept for the road.
