2024 BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport Facelift Launches in Malaysia

The recently facelifted 2024 BMW X5 has officially launched in Malaysia, with the plug-in hybrid xDrive50e M Sport variant priced at RM528,100. This includes the comprehensive BMW Service & Repair Inclusive package, covering a 5-year extended warranty and scheduled maintenance.  RM486,800 base without the package.

Powering the xDrive50e M Sport is an electrified powertrain generating a combined 489hp and 700Nm of torque, enabling 0-100km/h sprints in just 4.8 seconds. The newly developed setup offers a significant 96hp increase over its predecessor.  

On electric power alone, it can travel up to 110km based on WLTP testing standards. This allows most city commutes to be completed with zero emissions. Charging the battery from 0-100% now takes 4.5 hours, thanks to an improved 7.4kW onboard charger.

Visually, the X5 gains BMW’s latest “Iconic Glow” illuminated kidney grille. Inside, the luxury SUV adopts the brand’s newest BMW Operating System 8.5 and curved 14.9-inch display. Owners will also appreciate standard features like ambient lighting, a Harman Kardon surround sound system, and luxurious Merino leather upholstery. 

Added standard equipment includes BMW’s Comfort Access system, the Driving Assistant Professional package with advanced safety aids, Parking Assistant Professional for automated parking, and a choice of attractive metallic exterior paint colors.
