2024 Kia Sportage PHEV: Plug into Your Next Adventure

Kia’s Sportage, recently crowned with 2023 awards, returns for 2024 with a fresh design and features specifically tailored to meet the needs of discerning drivers. Under the hood, expect a 1.6L turbocharged engine churning out 177 horsepower and 195 lb-ft torque, plus a 2,000-lb towing capacity when equipped with trailer brakes. The Sportage touts an EPA-estimated 35 MPG combined fuel economy, balancing performance with efficiency.

Beyond capability, value shines through Sportage’s pricing and dimensions. Two AWD variants split the difference between features and affordability:

  • X-Line AWD: $39,490 MSRP (excluding destination fees)
  • X-Line Prestige AWD: $43,990 MSRP (excluding destination fees)

With a 183.5-inch length, 73.4-inch width, 66.9-inch height, and 108.5-inch wheelbase, expect a right-sized package.

Safety technology headlines the Sportage’s interior overhaul. Now with rear seat-mounted airbags and LED headlights, plus advanced systems like Highway Driving Assist, Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance and Safe Exit Warning (Prestige trim).

2024 Sportage PHEV

The 2024 Sportage offers modern style, competitive pricing, good performance, and advanced safety features.
