Land Cruiser Returns In 2024: Affordable Adventure with Hybrid Power

The iconic Toyota Land Cruiser is making a triumphant comeback to the North American market for 2024 after a three-year absence. Staying true to its heritage as a durable, capable off-roader, the new Land Cruiser features a more affordable mid-$50,000 price tag compared to the previous generation’s $85,000+ MSRP.

Exclusively powered by a 326 horsepower 2.4L turbocharged hybrid i-FORCE MAX powertrain, the 2024 Land Cruiser delivers robust torque for off-road adventures. It rides on Toyota’s new TNGA-F truck platform, engineered for durability and designed to handle harsh environments. At 181.3 inches long, the new Land Cruiser has a slightly smaller footprint than before for better maneuverability on trails. It comes equipped with the latest off-road technologies like Multi-Terrain Select, CRAWL Control, and Downhill Assist Control to master tricky terrain.

The iconic round LED headlights and heritage “TOYOTA” grille on the Land Cruiser 1958 grade pay homage to early models. Meanwhile, the Land Cruiser grade gets a more modern look with slim LED lights. All models feature the squared-off body profile reminiscent of classic Land Cruisers. A 12.3-inch touchscreen, Toyota’s updated Audio Multimedia system, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto come standard.

Limited to 5,000 units, the First Edition model ushers the return of the Land Cruiser with exclusive touches like a two-tone paint scheme, round heritage LED lights, rock rails, and unique interior details. As a blank canvas ready for customization, over 100 Toyota accessories are available like rack attachments and off-road recovery gear.

There’s much to love about the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser. This legendary off-road 4×4 stays true to its reputation for reliability and durability, while also incorporating classic design cues and modern enhancements. Now, adventure seekers can experience the thrill of exploring unfamiliar terrain at a more accessible price point.
