All-New 2025 Toyota Camry: Full Hybrid, Loaded With Tech

When the redesigned 2025 Toyota Camry arrives in dealerships late this spring, it will usher in a new era as the first Camry lineup to go exclusively hybrid across all models and trim levels. The substantial update cements Toyota’s industry leadership in hybrid technology while giving its iconic midsize sedan a complete styling and tech overhaul.

Under the hood, the 2025 Camry employs Toyota’s latest 5th generation hybrid system coupled with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. In front-wheel drive configuration, it produces a robust 225 net horsepower yet still achieves an impressive estimated 51 MPG combined rating on the LE grade. For added all-weather traction, Toyota is also offering an available Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive system for the first time on Camry Hybrid models. The AWD variants get a power boost to 232 net horsepower courtesy of a dedicated rear electric motor.

The 2025 Camry showcases a dramatic design transformation inside and out. Styled with a sleek “hammerhead” front grille, sloped roofline, and chiseled body lines, it cuts a decidedly more athletic stance than its predecessor. The sporty SE and XSE grades dial up the aggression further with unique mesh grille inserts, side rockers, rear spoiler, and diffuser accents. A selection of new two-tone color schemes amplify the fresh, modern exterior vibe.

Significant interior updates abound as well, headlined by an open, horizontally-oriented cockpit design with premium materials and meticulous craftsmanship. Other key cabin highlights include digital instrument clusters, an available 10-inch head-up display, larger infotainment screens with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the first panoramic sunroof offered on a Camry Hybrid.

The 2025 Camry will also set a new benchmark for midsize sedans in terms of advanced safety tech. Toyota’s latest Safety Sense 3.0 system is standard across the lineup, bundling cutting-edge driver assistance features like emergency braking with pedestrian/bicyclist detection, full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane tracing assist and more.

Pricing for the reimagined 2025 Toyota Camry starts at just $28,400, representing superb value for a fuel-efficient midsize hybrid packed with fresh styling and the latest tech and safety equipment. With first deliveries scheduled for late spring 2024, Toyota’s iconic sedan is poised to lead its segment into the future.

Carlist Thoughts

The redesigned 2025 Toyota Camry is over $400 less than the outgoing model’s hybrid base grade, yet comes with more standard features. This aggressive pricing undercuts industry-wide inflationary pressures and makes the all-new Camry an even greater value proposition.
