Lotus Eletre EV Is Now Available In Malaysia

Lotus Cars Malaysia has officially launched the Eletre, the brand’s first all-electric SUV. The Eletre is available in three variants: the Eletre R, the Eletre S, and the standard Eletre.

The Eletre R is the top-of-the-line variant and is powered by a dual-motor powertrain that produces 675 kW (905 hp) and 985 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.95 seconds and has a top speed of 265 km/h. The Eletre S and standard Eletre are powered by a single-motor powertrain that produces 450 kW (603 hp) and 725 Nm of torque. They can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and have a top speed of 258 km/h.

All three variants of the Eletre are equipped with a 100 kWh battery pack that provides a range of up to 600 km on the WLTP cycle. The Eletre can be charged at up to 350 kW, which can add up to 240 km of range in just 10 minutes.

The Eletre is built on Lotus’s new Electric Premium Architecture (EPA) platform, designed for high-performance electric vehicles and is capable of supporting up to 800 kW of power. The Eletre is also the first Lotus vehicle to be equipped with all-wheel steering.

The interior is equipped with a 15.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.2-inch head-up display. The Eletre also comes standard with a panoramic sunroof, a 13-speaker KEF sound system, and a 13-camera 360-degree camera system.

Pricing starts at RM578,000 for the standard Eletre, RM648,000 for the Eletre S, and RM798,000 for the Eletre R. The Eletre is available for booking now and deliveries are expected to begin in the second half of 2023.
