Luxury Electric Minivan Zooms to Impress at CES 2024

Zeekr is offering rides in their luxurious 009 MPV at CES 2024, giving attendees a first-hand experience with the car’s superior performance and lavish interior.

The Zeekr 009 features the world’s first production 140kWh battery from CATL providing up to 822 km of range based on the CLTC cycle. It utilizes CATL’s cutting edge Qilin battery technology with cobalt-free LFP chemistry for increased range and safety.

With a dual-motor, all-wheel drive powertrain producing 400kW, the 009 can rocket from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds – making it the fastest accelerating minivan on the market. The silicon carbide inverters and state-of-the-art drive efficiency helps it achieve this supercar rivaling acceleration time.

On the inside, the 009 is more like a luxury lounge featuring captain’s chairs, massage functions, a large rear entertainment system, and even a built-in espresso machine. It’s designed to keep both kids and parents happy on long road trips.

Our Thoughts

While the 009 minivan is currently only available in China, its debut at CES shows Zeekr’s ambitions to take on Tesla and other EV startups in the US and Europe soon. With its tantalizing mix of speed, cutting-edge tech and luxury, the 009 may force established players like Mercedes and BMW to step up their electric minivan game. Pricing? It starts at RMB 499,000 ($70,000).
