This is the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona Electric Car

Dodge recently released teaser images previewing the 2025 Charger Daytona EV, an electric version of its popular performance sedan. While full details have yet to be announced, it’s clear the Daytona EV will have an aggressive new look while maintaining the Charger’s iconic silhouette.

Though the teaser images focus mostly on the exterior, the Daytona EV is likely to feature a fully electric powertrain producing incredible straight-line acceleration. This would continue the Charger’s reputation for unbridled power and performance.

The front end reveals a large trapezoidal grille flanked by narrow headlights, conveying a bold, futuristic appearance while also paying homage to the iconic 1969 Charger. The Daytona EV also features a lengthened hood and lowered roofline compared to the current gas-powered Charger, giving it a sleeker, more nimble stance reminiscent of the 1969 model’s coke bottle styling.

With its debut at the end of 2024, the 2025 Charger Daytona EV has already generated substantial buzz in the auto community. As Dodge rolls out more details, excitement will only continue building for this electric muscle car. Stay tuned for updates on what will likely be one of the most hotly-anticipated EVs of 2024.

Our Thoughts

A classic car sells, and a 1969 Charger like the one in Fast and Furious is as beautiful as it gets. Put an electric motor to it, and I believe Dodge will sell a lot of them. With classic looks and modern electric power, these classic muscle cars updated for a new era will find eager buyers.
