2025 Honda Pilot Gets Aggressive Black Edition, TrailSport Trim

The rugged and family-friendly 2025 Honda Pilot is arriving at dealerships with an exciting new Black Edition and the off-road ready TrailSport trim.

Honda’s largest and most powerful 3-row SUV ever, it is the ultimate adventure vehicle for families. It combines rugged styling, class-leading off-road capability and nimble on-road dynamics.

The Black Edition sits at the top of the lineup with exclusive styling enhancements for a more aggressive look. Exterior updates include gloss black 20-inch alloy wheels, a gloss black grille bar, black upper mirror housings, and blackout treatments for the fascia, window trim, door garnishes and rear bumper. Black Edition badges adorn the grille and tailgate.

Inside, the Black Edition has red-accented perforated leather seats, red contrast stitching throughout, and red accent lighting. The front seats and floor mats feature embossed Black Edition logos. All-wheel-drive is standard.

For adventurous families, the TrailSport is Honda’s most off-road capable SUV ever. It gets specialized hardware like all-terrain tires, steel skid plates, increased ground clearance, an off-road tuned suspension and expanded all-wheel drive capabilities.

Unique TrailSport styling cues include orange contrast stitching, TrailSport logos on the headrests and floor mats, and exclusive 18-inch wheels. Pricing for the Pilot TrailSport AWD starts at $49,100.

The full 2025 Pilot lineup ranges from $39,900 for the Sport 2WD up to $54,280 for the Black Edition AWD. Honda’s suite of advanced safety technologies comes standard across all trims.

Several factory-approved accessory packages are available as well, including the eye-catching HPD Package with black or bronze wheels and graphics inspired by Honda’s racing heritage.

Built exclusively at Honda’s Alabama plant, the new Pilot furthers the brand’s commitment to building products close to U.S. customers. The 2025 Honda Pilot is on sale now at Honda dealerships nationwide.

CARLIST THOUGHTS

Starting under $40k for a well-equipped 3-row SUV, the 2025 Honda Pilot represents outstanding value. Its rugged yet sophisticated styling, both inside and out, is undeniably appealing. With the new Black Edition and TrailSport trim levels, Honda has made its family hauler even more desirable.
