SUVs and EVs Drive Strong Sales Growth for Hyundai and Kia

Hyundai Motor America and Kia America reported strong electric vehicle sales growth in November 2023, driven by popular new models. Hyundai’s total sales increased 11% year-over-year, while Kia’s rose 3% over the same period.

Hyundai’s IONIQ 5 crossover saw sales surge an impressive 99% versus November 2022. With its funky styling, long driving range, and ultra-fast charging, the IONIQ 5 continues gaining momentum as a top EV choice. Its exceptional sales growth underscores rising consumer appetite for Hyundai’s cutting-edge electric models.

Kia’s electric lineup also posted robust gains, with EV sales up 120% year-over-year in November 2023. The brand’s EV6 crossover remained especially popular, with sales more than doubling over the previous year. Lauded for its sharp design and thrilling performance, the EV6 brings flair to the electric vehicle segment.
