Tesla Malaysia Offers Three New Cool Colours For Model Y

Three new colour options for the Model Y have been released for the Model Y by Tesla Malaysia. Currently accessible through the brand’s online configurator, the new paint hues include Quicksilver, Stealth Grey, and Ultra Red. All three of the new colours are available these prices—Ultra Red at RM11,000, while the other two cost RM7,500.

The Quicksilver option however, is currently limited to the Model Y. Along with Pearl White, Solid Black, and Deep Blue options, the new Tesla Model 3 Highland makeover also shares Ultra Red and Stealth Grey.

Model Y dash is subtle, sparce and spacious.

The previous Midnight Silver colour has been replaced with two different shades of grey—Stealth Grey, which is a darker shade, and Quicksilver, which is a lighter hue. The new Ultra Red colour replaces the Red Multi-Coat paint job.

New colours available on any Model Y you choose

This Red Multi-Coat cost RM10,000, while Midnight Silver cost RM5,000, which is the same price as the black and blue alternatives.

You will be able to order these new colour variations on any Model Y you choose. The base RWD starts RM199,000, while the Long Range RWD begins at RM246,000, and the Performance AWD is priced from RM288,000.

Approximately eight months after the model’s July 2023 Malaysian debut, Tesla Model Y deliveries have just started. While the Model Y was taking its time to reach Malaysia, Tesla released a minor update for the small crossover, which is now free for consumers to download. These consist of laminated glass, a redesigned dashboard, and a little longer range for the RWD and Long Range models.

CARLIST THOUGHTS

With the Performance AWD model delivering up to 533 kms (WLTP) and holding 2,100 litres of cargo, the Model Y is one of the most desirable EVs on the market right now. Also, for those who need a quick top-up, there are now 20 Tesla Superchargers in Malaysia located at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur (8 stalls), Sunway Big Box (4 stalls), Sunway Pyramid (4 stalls) and Freeport A’Famosa Outlet Melaka (4 stalls).
