Peugeot’s New 408 Is Launching In Malaysia This Week

The Peugeot 408 is French design at its best. To all enthusiasts out there—the 408 is finally launching in Malaysia and interested parties will be able to inspect the car from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on April 20 and 21 at Peugeot Malaysia’s Sinar Raya Open House Weekend and other participating showrooms.

According to Stellantis Malaysia, the 408, which is expected to go on sale in Malaysia in May, will be available in three different variations in addition to being a locally assembled (CKD) vehicle.

The PureTech 1.6-litre turbocharged inline-4 petrol engine produces 218 hp and 300 Nm of torque, with power going to the front wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The all-new 408, which formerly had a three-box sedan appearance, now boasts a crossover coupe style, sharp angles and deep contours. It is also the first model from the company to feature the updated Peugeot logo.

It will also be possible for attendees of Peugeot Malaysia‘s Sinar Raya Open House Weekend to place their orders for a new 408. In addition, when consumers test drive and reserve the Peugeot 2008, 3008, and 5008 that weekend, they will be eligible for rebates of up to RM8,000 and a chance to win lucky ketupats.

When guests get behind the wheel of a Peugeot 3008 and 5008, they will be entered into a drawing for a lucky ketupat and have the opportunity to win an extra RM1,000 in duit raya for their reservations.

The promotion for Sinar Raya is valid through April 30. Customers who make a reservation for a Peugeot vehicle would still be eligible for refunds of up to RM8,000.
