BMW Vision Concept Previews Automaker’s Electric Future

BMW Group celebrates 25 years of its Silicon Valley tech office with an exclusive event unveiling the BMW Vision Neue Klasse EV and a panel discussion on “Humanizing Tech.”

BMW Board Member Frank Weber headlines the panel alongside neuroscientist Poppy Crum, Airbnb AI expert Naba Banerjee and Meta executive Micah Collins. Renowned tech expert David Pogue moderates.

The Neue Klasse model on display previews the next generation of BMW EVs arriving in 2025, boasting 30% more range, faster charging and increased efficiency. Its minimalist design language hints at the automaker’s future direction.

As an R&D hub, the BMW Group Technology Office shapes ideas into automotive tech to enhance driver experiences. Opened in 1998 as BMW’s first tech center abroad, the Silicon Valley site explores emerging trends while collaborating with regional partners.

It belongs to a network of BMW tech offices strategically placed worldwide, including Munich, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Tel Aviv and Tokyo.

Our Thoughts

As an ardent admirer of BMW’s aesthetic and sustainability efforts, I eagerly await experiencing their visionary interiors firsthand – like the i7’s expansive 31.3-inch 8K rear cinema display promising an supremely immersive viewing experience for passengers.
