HiPhi Unveils New Electric Hypercar With Extreme Performance

Electric vehicle startup HiPhi has unveiled a new hypercar model called the HiPhi A that boasts extreme speed and power.

The company said the HiPhi A can accelerate from 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) in just over 2 seconds with a targeted top speed of 300 kph (186 mph).

It features a three-motor electric powertrain that generates 1,305 metric horsepower. HiPhi said it developed the vehicle’s motors and 800-volt battery pack in house.

Advanced technologies equipped on the vehicle include active rear-wheel steering, carbon ceramic brakes, torque vectoring and an adjustable air suspension system – all aimed at ensuring quick response and precise handling at high speeds.

Our Thoughts

While pricing details have not been released, the company’s HiPhi X and HiPhi Z models currently sell for €109,000 and €105,000 respectively in Germany and Norway. I expect the HiPhi A to retail for a significant premium over those figures.
