Hyundai Unveils All-New 2024 Santa Fe SUV with Spacious Interior and Rugged Exterior

Hyundai recently unveiled the all-new 2024 Santa Fe SUV at the 2023 LA Auto Show. The redesigned Santa Fe features a longer wheelbase, more cargo space, an available third row of seating, and a rugged new exterior design.

The Santa Fe grows significantly for 2024, now sitting on a 110.8-inch wheelbase that’s longer than before. This extended wheelbase allows Hyundai to add an available third row of seats, providing room for up to seven passengers. Even with the extra row, cargo capacity behind the second row increases to 40.5 cubic feet.

On the outside, the new Santa Fe adopts a bolder, more rugged design than the outgoing model. The front end features a new grille and headlight design, while the profile takes on more squared-off fender flares and wheel arches. Extra cladding and black exterior accents give the Santa Fe an adventurous look, especially in the new XRT off-road trim. Ground clearance increases by 1.5 inches in the XRT, while an available towing package boosts max towing to 4,500 pounds.

Inside, the Santa Fe gains a completely redesigned dashboard and interior. The dual cockpit features new horizontally-oriented air vents, matching the shape of the available 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Higher trim levels add luxury features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless phone charging pads, USB-C ports, second-row captain’s chairs, and an available “relaxation seat” for the driver with an extending leg rest.

Power comes from two turbocharged engines: a standard 2.5-liter with 277 horsepower or an optional 1.6-liter hybrid powertrain with 232 combined system horsepower. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission is standard on the gas model, with the hybrid using a traditional six-speed automatic.

Pricing for the 2024 Santa Fe starts in the mid $30,000s, ranging up to the mid $40,000s for high-end Calligraphy and XRT models. Look for the new Santa Fe to arrive at Hyundai dealerships in March 2024.
