Lucid Air Lower Pricing And Updated Features

Lucid Motors has announced updates to its Air luxury electric vehicle lineup, offering greater flexibility for customers to configure vehicles tailored to their needs. The updated lineup is anchored by the Air Pure, now starting at $77,400, and the Air Touring, now starting at $85,900.

“This transforms flexibility and choice for customers while showcasing Lucid’s commitment to continuously improving the world’s most advanced electric vehicles,” said Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson. “By listening to owners and prospective customers, we can now provide compelling configuration options. For example, you can now order an Air Pure with massaging seats or an Air Grand Touring with a metal roof.”

The streamlined Air lineup features four sleek, sporty models with luxurious interiors across standardized powertrain and battery selections for simplicity. Continuous customer focus means newly available features across the board. This provides freedom to personalize a luxury experience with a wider range of interior/exterior color options, including the popular Stealth Appearance now available at a more accessible price.

New Comfort & Convenience Packages are also now available as extra-cost options for the Air Pure and Air Touring (standard on the Air Grand Touring and Sapphire). The Air Pure package adds heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, soft-close doors, four-zone climate control, and power rear window sunshades.

The Air Touring package includes all Air Pure features plus power open/close frunk and heated precision wipers. With efficiency, technology, performance and luxury, the four streamlined models remain anchored by the Air Pure starting at $77,400 and now featuring greater personalization and packaging options for discerning luxury EV customers.

This allows Lucid to provide compelling configuration choices through listening to owners and prospective buyers. The updated, flexible Air lineup showcases Lucid’s commitment to continuously advancing the world’s most dynamic, advanced electric luxury vehicles.

Our Thoughts

The Lucid Air delivers a refined and exhilarating driving experience. While the metal roof option provides a classic look, I highly recommend opting for the glass roof to create a more open, airy cabin feel.

The panoramic glass roof floods the Lucid Air’s already spacious interior with natural light, visually expanding the space and seamlessly connecting passengers to the outside environment.  This truly brings the outdoors in, enhancing the overall luxury experience whether admiring sunny skies or starry nights from the cabin of this advanced EV.
