MINI Unveils New Countryman C Crossover

MINI has introduced the new Countryman C, an entry-level variant of its popular Countryman crossover model. The latest addition aims to combine MINI’s trademark driving enjoyment with increased interior space and comfort.

The Countryman C is powered by a 125kW/170hp turbocharged 3-cylinder gasoline engine with mild hybrid technology. This enables a 0-100km/h time of 8.3 seconds and a top speed of 212km/h. Fuel consumption is an efficient 6.5-6.1L/100km (36-38mpg) thanks to energy recovery and a 14kW electric boost during acceleration.

In terms of design, the new Countryman C is 13cm longer and 8cm taller than its predecessor, giving it a more commanding presence. It features MINI’s iconic octagonal grille and hexagonal LED headlights. The interior offers room for up to five passengers, with sports seats providing extra width. The versatile rear seats can slide and recline, expanding cargo space from 450L to 1460L.

The minimalist cabin centres around a new 240mm OLED touchscreen display with voice control. This integrates all infotainment and driving assists, including a Driving Assistant Plus system that enables hands-free driving at up to 60km/h.

Customization options include four trim levels called Essential, Classic, Favoured and JCW. These offer different colour schemes and materials, allowing owners to express their individual style.

Overall, the new MINI Countryman C strikes a balance between the brand’s fun driving experience and the practicality of a compact SUV. Its technology, versatility and customizable nature make it an enticing new addition to the lineup for fans seeking both adventure and everyday usability.  Pricing starts at 39.900€.
