New Isuzu D-Max Debuts In Malaysia for RM99,000

The D-Max is finally here and it has a lot to offer.

The all-new 2024 Isuzu D-Max has just been introduced in Malaysia by Isuzu, with a price tag hovering between RM98,949 and RM157,938.

The D-Max has been tha aesthetics treatment, particularly with the top-of-the-line X-Terrain model. The lower radiator slats on the front radiator grille have been replaced with a new honeycomb lattice pattern. According to Isuzu, this makes cooling more effective.

The newly designed LED daytime running lights and automated Bi-LED projector headlights are also new. Redesigned LED taillight clusters, a new tailgate, and a new handle design with a keyhole to secure the tailgate in the event that a canopy or cover is installed are all available at the back.

The D-Max in Malaysia now comes with a new Namibu Orange Mica paint choice when it comes to exterior colour selections. It complements the current colour choices, which include Dolomite White Pearl, Onyx Black, and Islay Grey.

The Auto Plus and Standard versions come with silver 17-inch alloy wheels. On the other hand, the company states that the new matt black 18-inch alloys on the more expensive X-terrain and Premium models are both durable and easy to clean, even when they get clumped with mud.

There are two powerplant options available for the D-Max in Malaysia; however, a new diesel particulate filter has allowed the car to meet Euro 4 emissions regulations. This comprises the more potent 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine that generates 190 horsepower and 450 Nm, as well as the 1.9-liter engine that produces 150 horsepower and 350 Nm.The D-Max comes with the following D-Max parts in Malaysia including multi-reflector halogen headlights, and daytime running lights.

CARLIST THOUGHTS

Isuzu has put a lot of work into enhancing the D-Max’s aerodynamic capabilities including cosmetic surgery where the pickup truck now has a new front bumper with air curtains positioned all around the front foglamp housings. This SUV should be all about extreme comfort levels, and loads of room not to mention the great class-leading interior styling.
