New MINI Countryman S All4 To Debut In Malaysia From RM259,000

It’s been a long time coming, but MINI Malaysia has officially revealed the 2025 MINI Countryman S All4’s price. To be locally built in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, the car will retail for RM258,888 on-the-road (OTR) without insurance and come with a standard two-year warranty. The price increases to RM269,288 with the MINI Extended warranty and Service Package, which comes with a four-year unlimited mileage warranty and a free service schedule.

In contrast to the new 2025 model, the 2024 MINI Countryman John Cooper Works (petrol) costs RM401,988 and the 2024 MINI Countryman SE All4 electric car (EV) costs RM266,288, both of which come with MINI’s extended warranty and service package.

When comparing the exterior appearance of the 2025 MINI Countryman S All4 to that of its EV predecessor, other than a few minor variations in badging, nothing appears to have modified. One spec we cannot ignore is that it has a petrol engine rather than an electric motor.

The new Countryman gets a huge suite of safety features

Together with a seven-speed automatic gearbox, the 2.0-litre turbocharged engine provides 204 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque delivered to all four wheels via the ALL4 All-Wheel-Drive system. In the end, this leads to a top speed of 228 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 7.4 seconds.

The new 2025 MINI comes with all of the standard features found in the Favoured Trim package. A 9.4-inch round OLED central display, electrically adjustable John Cooper Works sport seats with massage and memory features, an anthracite headliner, a Comfort Package Plus interior rearview mirror with an automated anti-drizzle feature, and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon 365W surround sound system are all included.

Additionally, the Favoured Trim option includes 20-inch two-tone Windmill spoke wheels, distinctive LED lighting with programmable daytime running lights, and LED tail lights with programmable graphics to adorn the outside.

The car comes with a sizable range of safety features including Lane Change Warning, Lane Departure Warning with active steering intervention, Speed Limit Info and Manual Speed Limit Assist, Cruise Control with braking function, Front Collision Warning with brake intervention, Evasion Assistant, Rear Crossing Traffic Warning with brake intervention, Rear-end Collision Prevention, and Exit Warning.

Park Assist, Reversing Assistant up to 50m, Drive Off Monitoring, Rear Panorama View, Parking View, Remote 3D View, BMW Drive Recorder, and an external Anti-Theft Recorder are also included as standard features of Parking Assistant Plus.

CARLIST THOUGHTS

So now buyers have a choice of petrol turbo or EV variants, and from some very reasonable prices. Boasting some of the most comprehensive safety features in its segment, and looks that appeal to a huge range of buyers, we can expect queues at MINI dealers to grow in length.
