Tesla To Cut Prices In Hong Kong

Tesla, the renowned electric vehicle manufacturer, is poised to implement price reductions on several editions of its Model 3 and Model Y cars in Hong Kong starting from August 4, as reported by the Hong Kong Economic Times on Monday.

The reported discounts are expected to span a range from 6% to 11.9%.

Our Thoughts

We find pre-announcing the price cuts rather unusual. The query arises as to why the company would choose to disclose such information ahead of implementing the actual reductions.
