This week, AC Cars, Britain’s oldest active vehicle manufacturer, announced Ace One Motors Co. Ltd as its exclusive dealer in Taiwan, as the well-known marque continues to develop its international sales network.
Starting the Lunar New Year in style, AC Cars first appointment in Asia and the strategic relationship with Ace One Motors underlines the company’s commitment to the global market. The establishment of a new dealership will allow the brand and its AC Cobra GT range of sports cars to reach new customers and drive regional awareness.
Many readers may recall the climactic scene in Will Smith’s flick Bad Boys, in which a Cobra is chased by a Porsche 911 Turbo. This movie helped to put the Cobra on the map.
Handling sales and delivery, Ace One Motors will showcase the sports car manufacturer’s AC Cobra GT Roadster and GT Coupe models as well as providing after-sales support for the growing range of vehicles.
Featuring a new design, the AC Cobra GT range employs a clean-sheet design to deliver cutting-edge modern sports cars, produced using the latest technology and engineering processes. Instantly recognisable, these remain faithful to the spirit of the original AC Cobra of the 1960s yet utilises modern drivetrain and control technologies to provide an elevated of performance and handling.
Extremely light and with exceptional torsional rigidity, the car’s aluminium chassis is cloaked in a flowing carbon-composite body, while a range of powerful engines deliver real power and a soundtrack to match.
The newly commissioned showroom is in the Da’an neighbourhood, one of Taipei’s most exclusive districts with the city’s most famous landmark, the Taipei 101, just two kilometres away.

Taiwan will be Asia’s first country to import the iconic Cobra and we can expect to see other local markets following suit very soon—including Thailand, and Malaysia to name a few. With price ranging from around the equivalent of $357,000 for the GT and $407,000 for the Roadster, the Cobra will knock horns with the likes or Ferrari and Lamborghini.
