Starting the Lunar New Year in style, AC Cars first appointment in Asia and the strategic relationship with Ace One Motors underlines the company’s commitment to the global market. The establishment of a new dealership will allow the brand and its AC Cobra GT range of sports cars to reach new customers and drive regional awareness.

Many readers may recall the climactic scene in Will Smith’s flick Bad Boys, in which a Cobra is chased by a Porsche 911 Turbo. This movie helped to put the Cobra on the map.

Handling sales and delivery, Ace One Motors will showcase the sports car manufacturer’s AC Cobra GT Roadster and GT Coupe models as well as providing after-sales support for the growing range of vehicles.

Featuring a new design, the AC Cobra GT range employs a clean-sheet design to deliver cutting-edge modern sports cars, produced using the latest technology and engineering processes. Instantly recognisable, these remain faithful to the spirit of the original AC Cobra of the 1960s yet utilises modern drivetrain and control technologies to provide an elevated of performance and handling.

Extremely light and with exceptional torsional rigidity, the car’s aluminium chassis is cloaked in a flowing carbon-composite body, while a range of powerful engines deliver real power and a soundtrack to match.

The newly commissioned showroom is in the Da’an neighbourhood, one of Taipei’s most exclusive districts with the city’s most famous landmark, the Taipei 101, just two kilometres away.

Speaking of the announcement David Conza, Chief Executive Officer of AC Cars, said: “We are extremely proud to be working with Ace One Motors Co. Ltd. This is a great first step into Asia, and the strength of the investment in this partnership comes at a hugely exciting time for AC Cars. We’re looking forward to a very close relationship going forward, and how this can develop, as we look to grow our presence in this strategically important market.”
