New MINI Countryman S ALL4 Destined For Malaysian Showrooms

The all-new 2025 MINI Countryman S All4 has been made available by MINI Malaysia. It will join the previously released Countryman lineup, which also includes the John Cooper Works Countryman and the completely electric Countryman SE ALL4. The new petrol version is expected to start at RM259,000 and will be domestically assembled (CKD) in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah.

Visually speaking, the MINI Countryman S ALL4 and the completely electrified SE model are nearly identical. The Favoured Trim package, which includes standard exterior features like 20-inch two-tone windmill spoke wheels, distinctive LED lighting with programmable daytime running lights, and LED tail lights with programmable graphics, is included with the CKD MINI Countryman S ALL4.

Smokey Green, Slate Blue, Chilli Red, Melting Silver, Nanuq White, and Blazing Blue are the six colours available for the new MINI Countryman S ALL4. Dark Petrol is the only available interior colour option.

The gasoline-powered MINI Countryman S ALL4 has a greater boot space of 505 litres, which can be increased to 1,530 litres, even though its dimensions are identical to those of its electric brother. This is because it does not need to store EV batteries in its boot floor.

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that powers the MINI Countryman S ALL4 produces 204 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. When combined with a seven-speed automatic gearbox, the ALL4 All-Wheel-Drive system distributes power to all four wheels. This corresponds to a top speed of 228 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 7.4 seconds. Not the quickest but respectable. Just.

In terms of technology, the Countryman S ALL4 has the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant, which is the company’s first fully functional voice assistant and allows voice-activated navigation and other car features. Although having tried this system you must be careful with your language for it to understand you.

The MINI mobile app has multiple functions such as MINI Digital Key Plus, which permits the owner to share their key digitally to allow car sharing. The Countryman S ALL4 is also equipped with an extensive list of safety features, including Lane Departure Warning with active steering intervention, Speed Limit Info & Manual Speed Limit Assist, Cruise Control with braking function, Front Collision Warning with brake intervention, Evasion Assistant, Rear Crossing Traffic Warning with brake intervention, Rear-end Collision Prevention and Exit Warning, Parking Assistant Plus, Park Assist, Reversing assistant, Active Park Distance Control, Drive off monitoring, Parking view, Panorama view, and BMW Drive Recorder.

Pricing of the new Countryman S ALL4 is estimated to be priced at RM259,000 on-the-road and if you opt for the four-year Extended Warranty and Service Package, your price will increase to brings RM270,000.

Also available for the new MINI Countryman S ALL4 is coverage from MINI Malaysia’s Five-Year Roadside Assistance programme, providing 24-hour roadside assistance.

CARLIST THOUGHTS

For MINI fans this latest version will be hard to ignore. It may look almost identical to the electrified SE model but in packs a 204-hp 2.0-litre turbo engine in place of the electric motors. This powerplant is definitely fun to drive but if the truth be said, this turbo engine is not the gutsiest in its class. But we don’t think that will sway buyers too much who are basically looking for something unique, cool and cute. And that’s what MINI delivers.
