Pop-Up Store Opens In Malaysia Showcasing BMW, BYD, Ford And Hyundai Vehicles

In the 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Selangor, Sime Darby Motors is hosting its very first pop-up store. The store, which is open to the public for three months from now through March 31, 2024, is situated at 1 Utama Shopping Center’s G102A.

Products from car brands under Sime Darby Motors’ portfolio—including BMW, MINI, BYD, Ford, Hyundai, and BMW Motorrad—are among the vehicles available at the three-month-long pop-up shop.

BMW is presenting its all-electric model lineup, which includes the all-new i7, the iX xDrive40, the iX xDrive50 Sport, and the iX1. Conversely, MINI is showcasing the MINI Electric hatchback.

Additionally, customers will be able to check out BYD’s all-electric cars. The Atto 3, the brand’s Dolphin hatchback, and the recently released Atto 3 Anniversary Edition are among the models on display.

At Sime Darby Motors’ store, you can also peruse the Ford Ranger Raptor, Ranger Platinium, and Ford Everest, if of course, you’re searching for SUVs suitable for on-and off-road scenarios. Hyundai also offers its Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 electric cars, the latter of which is available in Max RWD and Max AWD versions.

For two-wheel fans, BMW Motorrad is also displaying its selection of motorcycles and scooters including the R9T, BMW C400 GT, and CE04.

OUR THOUGHTS

Presenting the latest EVs to shoppers at a major shopping centre, and not waiting for customers to visit showrooms, is a great way to bridge. The gap between carmakers and motorists who might be sitting on the fence, not sure whether to jump into an EV just yet. In addition to viewing the automobiles, guests can interact with salespeople and product specialists from the individual auto brands to ask questions about the cars they’re interested in. Visitors will also be able to take advantage of exclusive deals that are only accessible at the pop-up store.
